On April 29, 2025, we traded our computers for shovels and headed to Kakerdaja Bog to do something that will last longer than any project timeline – together with Vestman Group, we planted approximately 600 young birch trees. This was more than just an environmental initiative – it was also a valuable opportunity to strengthen team spirit, take a meaningful step towards a greener future, and spend quality time together in nature. At Scanweld, we believe that a strong company has responsibilities beyond the production hall. For us, success also means care and accountability – for the environment, for the community, and for the future. This tree-planting day was part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and a key milestone in our broader environmental action plan.
