Social Responsibility

The Scanweld business philosophy is always to give some earnings back to society

The priority are projects related to children and sporting endeavours.


Scanweld supports the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Fund, which has provided aid to more that 1,000 children since 2001.

Scanweld provides ongoing support to Advanced Support Destitute Children charity project.

Scanweld supports Maarja Village, which offers a home to 33 young adults with learning disabilities. In Maarja Village, they try to live an active and independent life with the support and friendship of assistants and teachers living and working together with them.

Scanweld manufactured and installed a memorial to the children who lost their lives in the Estonia ferry disaster. The monument is located on the island of Hiiumaa.


Scanweld supports the BC Kalev/Cramo basketball club, which is an Estonian professional basketball club that participates in the Alexela Basketball Champions League, Baltic Basketball League and VTB United League.

Achievements of BC Kalev/Cramo:

  • 8-time winner of the Estonian Champions League: 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016
  • 5-time winner of the Estonian Cup: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2015
  • Best place in the Baltic League: 3rd, from 2013

Scanweld supports student formula team FS Tallinn.

Scanweld supports the RIM/Scanweld basketball club. The team has won lot of medals from Estonian 1st and 2nd league, M35+ and M40+ Estonian Championships.

Scanweld Sport
