Scanweld won the suit at law in the Chinese arbitration court!

The story itself dates back to the year 2022, when Scanweld purchased pipe bends from China, which turned out to be defective. Since no agreement was reached with the factory on compensation for costs, Scanweld’s management decided to take an unprecedented step and filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer’s factory to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). With the support of very good local lawyers, we achieved a complete victory in court and all costs were separately recovered from the factory. The impartiality of the Chinese court, making a fair decision in a relatively short time, was surprising. A valuable experience for the future.
