Replacement of Remote-Read Gas Meters
Scanweld AS will carry out the replacement of remote-read gas meters on behalf of Gaasivõrk AS during the years 2026–2029. Gas meters must be replaced every four years to ensure their proper and accurate operation.
Gaasivõrk AS will notify customers in advance by email, after which a Scanweld dispatcher will contact the customer to agree on the exact time for the replacement. Our technicians and dispatcher will never ask for personal identification, PIN codes, or similar information. The technicians wear proper work uniforms and have a photo ID badge clearly visible. In addition to replacing the meter, the technician will also check for possible gas leaks near the meter.
The entire procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.
